MAG USA To Open Lounge At RNO

MAG USA has been selected as the preferred company to begin negotiating a contract to design, build and operate a common-use lounge at Reno-Tahoe International (RNO). The company will bring its Escape Airport Lounge concept to the airport and will invest more than $1 million in the 1,700-square-foot space.

The contract, awarded by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, is the fourth lounge contract win for MAG USA, which operates Escape Lounges in Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP), Oakland International (OAK) and Bradley International (BDL).

Escape Lounges offer complimentary hot and cold food and beverages, seating, plentiful power outlets, free high-speed Wi-Fi and other amenities. The current fee for walk-up entries is $45 plus taxes, with a discount available for pre-booking online.

“Consumers are seeking new ways to make simple and affordable upgrades to their daily lives, and Escape Lounges help them do that,” says Rosemarie Andolino, president and CEO of MAG USA. “Common-use airport lounges are still a relatively new concept in North America, and we look forward to working with more airports as they improve their passenger amenities.”
