With the opening of a kiosk in Terminal B at Kansas City International (MCI) on Dec. 8, InMotion Entertainment will have reached its 55th store.
It will be the second kiosk at MCI; the first opened in Terminal C on Nov. 22.
“InMotion is proud to continue to grow as the largest entertainment and electronics retailer in the airports,” says Eden Goldberg, vice president of marketing and business development. “Having 55 stores going into the holiday season allows us to offer our loyal and new customers must-have travel entertainment products or great gift options.”
The company also celebrated openings at Lambert-St. Louis International (STL) in the past few months. A 537 sq. ft. store opened in Terminal C on Sept. 27; a 609 sq. ft. store opened in Terminal A on Nov. 6; and a 965 sq. ft. store opened in Terminal E on Nov. 23.
In Jacksonville, Fla., where InMotion’s corporate headquarters are located, the store at Jacksonville International (JAX) has a new location. The 1,200 sq. ft. flagship store re-opened Nov. 15 in Terminal B, where it moved from the main terminal.
InMotion also remodeled stores at two other airports. The 425 sq. ft. location at Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) re-opened Nov. 12 in the main terminal. At San Francisco International (SFO), two locations have been upgraded, as well. On Nov. 7, the 1,030 sq. ft. store in Terminal 3 re-opened. The store in the International Terminal re-opened Nov. 11; it is 320 sq. ft.
