Kentucky Ale Taproom Now Pouring At LEX

Alltech’s Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. is giving travelers at Blue Grass (LEX) a chance to sample a taste of the city at the new Kentucky Ale Taproom.

“Travelers want to taste a bit of the local flavor when they visit a new city,” says Matt Cordle, Kentucky Ale’s general manager and national sales manager. “We want to make them feel welcome and showcase what Lexington has to offer. From our Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale to our Town Branch Bourbon, travelers are sure to find something they enjoy from the Bluegrass.”

Creative Food Group, a minority-owned company, is operating the Kentucky Ale Taproom.

“We are excited to be a part of a local icon such as Kentucky Ale,” says Creative Food Group President Ali Isani. “This is only the beginning to a great partnership with Alltech and Blue Grass Airport.”

The eatery, which can be found next to the Concourse B entrance, will be open from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. Guests will be able to sample its trio of beers, as well as other Alltech products such as Alltech Angus, Town Branch Bourbon, Pearse Lyons Reserve and Bluegrass Sundown.

“We are very pleased with the new renovations and even happier that we could partner with a local company like Alltech to welcome people to Lexington,” says Blue Grass Executive Director Eric Frankl. “We are hopeful these changes will result in an improved customer experience for those traveling through our airport.”
