Multi-Year Contract Awarded for Sustainability and Asset Management at ATL

Jacobsen|Daniels, an airport consulting and operations firm, in a joint venture with engineering and environmental consulting firm Haley & Aldrich, has been awarded a multi-million-dollar, multi-year contract to work with Atlanta’s department of aviation.

The Haley & Aldrich and Jacobsen|Daniels Joint Venture (HA-JD JV) will create a sustainability, facilities, and asset management strategy for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), with a focus on long-term sustainability plans.

“We look forward to collaborating with an airport that is already at the forefront of sustainability practices, and we anticipate continuous innovation and improvement in its business and operational practices,” says Alec Smith, general manager of HA-JD JV. “By more closely integrating facilities, asset management and sustainability operations in this process, [Atlanta’s department of aviation] will realize significant maintenance, planning, development, and procurement efficiencies and cost savings.”
