Three newly renovated stores have opened at LaGuardia (LGA), giving travelers nearly 4,000 sq. ft. of news and gift options.
The stores, opened by Relay at LGA LLC, a venture between HDS Retail North America and Corliss Stone-Littles LLC, include two RELAY news and gift stores in 1,862 sq. ft. and 1,042 sq. ft., and a 1,034 sq. ft. New York Scene gift store.
“We are pleased to hear from our employees on site that the new stores are receiving great compliments from travelers and airport workers alike,” says Gerry Savaria, president and CEO of HDS Retail. “We significantly invested in the research and development of new store design in the last few years, and it’s great to see our work paying off. We believe that stores such as the ones we just opened will go a long way in helping US Airways and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey make this terminal at LaGuardia a first-class facility for many years ahead.”
The three locations – RELAY, a news and gift concept, and New York Scene, a New-York themed gift store – were completely gutted and renovated; they reopened last week.
