The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is the best medium-sized employer for workplace excellence, according the San Diego Society for Human Resources Management.
The Marble Award recognizes companies that demonstrate organization excellences in areas such as procurement, innovation, ethics, electronic commerce, productivity and leadership; 130 employers nationwide were nominated.
“We’re extremely proud of all of our employees for working together to make the airport a healthy and productive workplace,” said Thella F. Bowens, president and CEO of the airport authority. “This prestigious award sets the bar high, and we will continue finding ways to achieve excellence in the workplace.”
The airport authority was acknowledged for its employee wellness programs and initiatives.
