STL Keeps On Rockin’ With Chairs, Music

Lambert-St. Louis International (STL) celebrated the first anniversary of its Music Spot performance stage on Friday.

The airport also celebrated the one-year mark for Lambert Rocks, which made its debut last fall. The program included the distribution of 70 rocking chairs throughout airline gate seating areas, and 60 more of the blue rockers were added Friday.

As part of the festivities, local artist Rich Brooks unveiled his work on one of the chairs, which featured a tribute to music.

Music for the event included pianist Ron Krausch and guitarists Stuart Johnson and Gregg Hayne.

The Music Spot and Lambert Rocks are part of the Lambert Advantage program, which adds services and amenities throughout the airport.
