TUL Aims To Increase Traffic To Facebook Page

In an effort to reach 4,000 fans, or “likes” as they’re now called on Facebook, Tulsa International (TUL) has joined forces with the WNBA team the Tulsa Shock, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa and the Inn at Price Tower for the “TUL Facebook Fan Giveaway.”

“TUL includes Facebook as part of our overall effort to communicate with our passengers and users,” says Alexis Higgins, deputy airports director for marketing. “By utilizing Facebook we are able to provide information to passengers and answer questions in a more real-time environment. This is especially helpful when weather affects airline operations.”

Random drawings will determine the winners, held within 24 hours of each of the following milestones:

When the total number of fans reaches 1,000, 30 fans will receive an AT&T Wi-Fi Internet Card for one free session of wireless internet while at the airport.

At 2,000 fans, a TUL fan will win four tickets to the July 13 Tulsa Shocks versus L.A. Sparks game.

When 3,000 people have become fans, one will be given a one-night stay at the Inn at Price Tower and two tickets to the Price Tower Arts Center including a private Tower tour.

At the 4,000-fan mark, one will receive a one-night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Tulsa, one round of golf for two at the Cherokee Hills Golf Course and a $100 voucher for dinner at the Hard Rock McGill’s.

To enter the contest click on the “TUL FB Contest” tab then, follow the link to enter by submitting your name, address, email address, and phone number in the form provided.  A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you upon completion of the form.
