A STELLAR OPPORTUNITY: Business Development Executive, Tampa Florida

An aggressive growth plan has created the need for a Business Development Executive. Overseeing activities for locations within multiple airports, this professional will report to the CEO and be the direct client contact. This individual will maximize the value of company assets and real estate by initiating and concluding successful projects, including delivery of the facilities and services committed to in each proposal.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to win/extend contracts, including positioning, local support, and identification of success criteria
  • Developing/managing positive client relationships and improving deal terms
  • Preparing and executing the project work plan and managing its budget
  • Gaining project budget approval and reporting on costs/milestones
  • Managing preparation of quality proposals and other documents for RFPs, lease extensions and other opportunities
  • Negotiating/finalizing ACDBE, subtenant, and client agreements
  • Managing multiple projects, delivering timelines, and generating cost estimates
  • Overseeing business case, design, and construction
  • Approving/negotiating project change orders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in business or finance
  • 10+ years in airport-industry finance, operations or concessions, and excellent relationships with minority community and government entities including the FAA, airport staff, and elected officials
  • Strong relationship-management skills for business-development activities
  • Knowledge of the government contracting process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, strong analytical skills, and excellent business judgment
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal/communication skills to interact persuasively at all levels
